This past month we had the fabulous Gary Faessler warm up our chilly nights with a delicious and very informative Moroccan Cooking Class! For those of you who missed it... Here's a little taste of the Menu:

Faessler is a chef, food and wine writer, food stylist and photographer living in North Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Gary produced, wrote and hosted “Chefs About Town” British Columbia's first regional food and wine arts television series broadcast across Canada for eight years (1990-1998.) He also produced and hosted a food, wine and performing arts radio program on CFUN 1410 which aired live for an hour every Sunday afternoon for two years from his kitchen studio at the Hudson Bay downtown Vancouver.
Faessler has been published in five cookbooks and has collaborated with Polyglot Publishing for the second time to produce the latest book “WineFeast Eat, Drink and Discover BC Wines” which won two awards from the “International Gourmet Cookbook Awards” announced in spring 2010 in Paris, for the Best Food and Wine Pairing cook book in Canada as well as the best “Wine Touring cook book in Canada” Gary recently created food styling and photography for Chef Agelo Prosperi-Porta’s latest cookbook “Honey” by Touchwood Editions.
Gary is currently the sales and marketing representative for Lunessence Winery and Vineyard.
